Let me say that so early, Vizio is a brand of value. But after seeing Samsung 1080p units that are twice the price, I can certainly say that the Vizio able to hang with the big boys.

On March 14, 2009 My 42 "Vizio died suddenly 15 months after purchase this is it. No sound and no picture. The backlight still worked. I had the foresight to buy the extended warranty. What Scherzo that have been processed as .
Vizio has grown out to ensure a company is expanding the company to another company. They sent me a power board and a motherboard. That lasted a month. Then finally found a local technician (which does not work for each of these bodies to come) and readyinstall it. Three technicians have refused to accept the call. The "new" (it was restored part of) the motherboard had no video, but sound great. It 'been a week and the third or fourth party supplier (Captovis) have not yet delivered to me another part. I have a 42 "light at night with a large built-in radio.
I'm beginning to believe that it has resolved its intention to honor its contract with the National Addiction or warranty for this problem. Too bad, because my warranty is valid until 2011 and are immenseSatisfaction to allow a person's life as miserable as I did.
Avoid this company at all costs, because after a year you are alone. Chinese junk.

After buying our house, my wife has been buying a TV surprise for me while I was at work.
Vx42l bought the Vizio. I was very excited. It 'was by far the best television I have ever had. I was impressed, and for one year and three months I got my HDTV a lot.
Today was my day off. I was fiddling around the house, listening to the news somehow, when all was quiet. I thought an increase or something, maybe done something to the dog, which had been drawn.

This could be a long story, but I will shorten.
After 1 year and 3 months my TV $ 1,000 went poof and turned into an expensive paperweight because "The power board," went after some work on 16-year-old phone tech Vizio customer service. Were not useful. He informed me that the warranty (one year) rose and I had it fixed at his expense. Hegave me a number of repair solutions.
